Arts Weekly | April 15-21

April 14, 2019 by Young Professionals in the Arts in Weekly Round-Up

While preparing this Arts Weekly, we actually laughed out loud at the brilliant TED Talk by Shawn Achor (see below). Not only did it cause a profound re-thinking around the concepts of happiness and success, but it also made us grateful that we work in an industry where it’s easy to find passion and joy through our love of arts. No matter how difficult our industry can be. Another Read this week is looking at how we need to re-think arts management courses and what curriculum changes should happen. Go to a mix of career development, earth day celebrations, and Dante readings this week. And lastly, Apply this time features two great professional development opportunities. Here we go, another week and another chance to find the happy secret to better work!
